I was misled by the description of the flagpole size. It was listed as 2 11/16" x 29 11/12 ft. After receiving and opening the package I found that the diameter of the flagpole was only 2 1/8". I am replacing an existing one with a diameter of 2 5/8". So, it would require a new base footing. My HOA doesn't want to install another base.

Awesome pole and easy to install.
This is a great and easy pole to assemble anyone can do it. Where I live the ground is a sandy clay and I was able to work the PVC sleeve in the ground a few inches at a time and knock out the dirt in the sleeve. Just take a level, hammer, and block of wood to tap on to of the PVC and keep it level. I had it fully installed and flag up in 20 min.

Unable to use all sections of the pole. Initially installed all sections and added a small 3’X5’ flag. At the time we had 10-15mph pretty much steady wind, gusts may have reached 20 mph. I immediately took flag down as it would have no if and or butts bent, and/or broken off. It would have also landed on the roof of my neighbor’s $85,000+ Infinity SUV. So, I took the whole thing down the next day which is not an easy process as holding 20-25 feet of flimsy pole above your head. Then I removed 2 sections of the pole. Put it back up and everything is fine. I do have to admit I do feel I did get a pretty deal price wise, but now I have 2 sections in the garage more less unusable. Moral of the story, think long and hard about buying a 30 FOOT flag pole if you have wind a lot as we do in ... Unable to use all sections of the pole. strong light weight flag pole that looks good too
nice flag pole kit . its not real heavy , its easy to put together , i just put it together , stood it up and two of lifted it up and set it down in a steel pipe cemented in the ground . and we ran up a 6 x 10 American flag and watched it fly proudly ! pole sections will shift some in the breeze , but i've not been worried about it coming down , not even in a storm with 35 mph wind gusts.
